Big Bang theory
Chemistry at R.C. Palmer starts in Science 8, along with biology, in a "package"; students learn about atoms, (periodic) elements, molecules, and how they react, including the 3(4) states of matter. These courses include hands-on activities, inquiry activities, and poster projects to simplify and help students understand and show they understand the theories, processes, and mechanics of science.
Science 9 is basically built on 8 and has the same-ish subjects in terms of chemistry (excluding the addition of the topic of electricity and memorizing Compounds)
By Science 10, students study chemical reactions that involve energy changes, atomic structure, and properties of matter.
