Although math 9 and 10 contains difference curriculum and subjects there are core lessons that you would learn in both grades:

-Estimate numbers and formulas accurately
-Learn to mental math strategies quickly and efficiently
-Simplify and shorten math equations for easier solving
-learn math symbols and functions
-translate graphs into equations
Understanding:
-Apply math to solve problems, both abstract and contextualized

-Memorize formulas
-apply the formulas on to other questions with different variables
